To further strengthen the international position of the Dutch logistics business community, the Logistics Top Sector has launched the digital portal Holland Logistics Library. On this portal, presentations, videos, reports and background information can be shared to promote logistics abroad.

The portal was launched during the Top Sector Logistics congress on 22 April. The portal gathers relevant information on Dutch logistics, ranging from presentations, films and visual material to fact sheets, regional information and background reports.A distinction has been made between information for attracting cargo flows and investments and information for exporting logistics knowledge and skills. "This library in particular enables us to speak the same language abroad," said Arthur van Dijk of TLN at the launch. "It is important that everyone participates and starts adding information themselves. Then it comes alive and gets value.

According to Mark Frequin, Director-General for Accessibility at the Ministry of Infrastructure & Environment, the portal contributes to the dissemination of logistics knowledge. "Abroad, it is often difficult to make it clear how good you are in logistics. This library helps with that."

Participants in the Holland Logistics Library can also upload content themselves. A Content Board checks the submissions and makes sure it gets to the right place. The digital library is maintained from the Netherlands Distribution Country and Dinalog.
