One logistics company has a warehouse that is too small and another company just has space to spare. To make optimal use of existing warehouse space, logistics startup Squlo has developed a marketplace where supply and demand for storage space come together.
This allows companies to use warehouse space when they need it without investing in that space themselves. Many logistics companies have peak times, for example during Christmas, when they need extra storage space. For them, it would be convenient to be able to use extra storage space for a limited time.
The startup hopes to establish a community where the different parties come together to make use of each other's space. They can make agreements among themselves and only pay for the space that is actually needed. At a later stage, Squlo wants to offer customers the ability to give a rating on the party with whom business is done.
