FedEC Energy Square: all electric factory

Can a process installation, even a complete factory, operate purely electrically? Without hydraulics and pneumatics? If the electricity is then also sustainably generated, that creates a unique opportunity. At the FedEC Energy Square, at Industrial Processing from 4-7 October 2016 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht, visitors will find answers to the question of whether this future scenario is realistic.

The FedEC Energy Square in hall 12 is the place where FedEC's energy consultants share their knowledge with visitors. They do so by displaying innovative systems, such as industrial heat pumps and fuel cells, and by giving daily presentations on important themes. Current issues in the field of laws and regulations on energy, technology, sustainability and the subject of energy and ICT (Internet of Things) will be discussed every day. Speakers will share tips on how to save energy today with relatively simple solutions; how Internet of Things helps to improve the monitoring of energy consumption and what role alternative energy sources play in moving the process industry towards the circular economy.
