Amazon is moving into two logistics centres in France with a total area of 137 thousand square metres. The etailer thus wants to strengthen its logistics network in France.

Real estate developer Goodman Group is supplying the spaces to the etail giant. At issue is a new centre to be built in Amiens, France, with an area of 107 thousand square metres. In Lauwin-Planque, Amazon is also moving into an existing space of 30 thousand square metres.

Construction will start this month on the logistics centre in Amiens, between Lille and Paris. Goodman aims for a BREEAM Very Good certificate during construction. To this end, the building will be equipped with LED lighting, among other things. The completion date is scheduled for September 2017.
