Logistics service provider Schenker Logistics Benelux has started construction of a new logistics complex at Trade Port Noord in Venlo. This is a warehouse and distribution centre with an area of around 45,000 square metres.
The new complex should provide work for around 100 employees and will be completed in two phases before the end of this year. Schenker Logistics is working with Constructor Dexion Holland BV for the warehouse racking and the submission documents for the environmental permit. 199 pallet rack sections with a beam length of 3,600 mm will be installed. The pallet racking sections will have subways to reduce walking times. The pallet racking will also be fitted with grid panels and crash protection will be installed.
