Brake specialist ABS All Brake Systems is transferring its logistics to DHL Supply Chain. Logistics operations at the ABS office will cease in mid-2018.
This is what aftersalesmagazine.nl knows. The brake specialist is moving its logistics five kilometres away to DHL Supply Chain's campus in Nieuwegein. ABS' 33 warehouse employees will move with it to DHL. The cooperation would give ABS room to focus on further growth, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
The two parties have been working together to manage the brake specialist's stock since late 2016. ABS' inventory systems are now linked to DHL's specialist knowledge. "ABS and DHL form one team for our customers. The extra square metres and available flexibility to add capacity pave the way for new growth," said ABS general manager Martijn Snijders.
