Inther Logistics Robotics comes up with the option to rent the Automated Document Applicator (ADA). 3PLs can choose to pay only for actual use.
The ADA automates the application of documents to the outside of a box. It prints, buffers, folds and adheres documents with a docufoil to boxes. Both the box size, and the position where the document is applied, can vary continuously in the process. In 2015, Inther Logistics went home with the Logistica audience award.
As contract logistics often provides logistics services on the basis of short- or medium-term contracts, 3PLs frequently innovate with solutions that can adapt to the flexible nature of their services. To meet the demand for flexibility, Inther now offers 3PLs the option to hire the ADA. “We have such confidence in the quality and robustness of
the Automated Document Applicator that we are prepared to take back the leased ADAs at the end of the lease period
. Even after a period of several years,” explains Paul Hermsen – Director of Inther Group – regarding the new option. “The fact that the ADA is designed to be a ‘plug-and-play’
machine minimises the time required for installation.”
