The Hague city centre will only be supplied by zero-emission vehicles from 2025 onwards. This has been agreed in the 'Convenant Stedelijke Distributie', signed by parties from the municipality, entrepreneurs and TLN and evofenedex.

Shops, hotels and restaurants, offices and residents in the city centre of The Hague will be supplied from 2025 by vehicles that emit no harmful substances. To realise this ambition, the parties will work out measures together in the coming period. For instance, by investigating how to stimulate the use of electric vehicles for city distribution.

In addition, possible subsidy measures to stimulate the purchase of clean vehicles will be looked into, and it will be investigated whether supply can be organised differently so that fewer vehicles are needed. For example, with a logistics hub on the outskirts of the city, from where zero-emission vehicles would then bring the goods further into the city.
