Netwerk Benelux has appointed Patricia de Wilde as General Manager. De Wilde will start work from 1 October at the partnership between thirteen transport companies.
Netwerk Benelux began in 2002 as a partnership between five transport companies. Today, thirteen companies with locations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg form the general cargo network. With De Wilde's appointment, Netwerk Benelux hopes to further intensify the cooperation and thus maintain a leading position in the Benelux.
De Wilde has years of experience in the sector. In 1997, she started her own consultancy Qtrans, advising in the field of quality management and interim management. The latter with BOVAG, STIBA and Truck of the Future (RWS), among others. In recent years, besides working for Qtrans, she was also policy advisor and transport manager at evofenedex.
"In the new position of General Manager at Netwerk Benelux, a number of things that are important to me are now coming together," says De Wilde about the new step. "I am very much looking forward to combining my knowledge of the market, being hands on, tackling things practically and operationally and dealing with partners and boards in one position."
