A capital injection of nearly 2 million euros will allow transport platform Brenger to scale up considerably in the near future. The Amsterdam startup links loads to couriers who have space left in their vans.
Brenger, which was founded two years ago, previously received funding from investors. Another 950,000 euro was recently added, bringing the total capital injection to almost two million euro.
Brenger enables couriers to add extra rides to their schedules. Consumers or businesses, in turn, can arrange transport through a courier who goes that way anyway. Brenger works with companies such as Marktplaats and Onlineveilingmeester.nl. Last year, Brenger saw its sales grow by 600 per cent.
