Chairman Arthur van Dijk quits at trade association Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN). Van Dijk will start work as commissioner of the King in the province of North Holland.

The Provincial States of North Holland have nominated Van Dijk (VVD) to the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The current TLN chairman will take over from Johan Remkes. He is expected to be installed in his new position in early 2019.

Van Dijk has been chairman of TLN for the past five years. "Arthur van Dijk is a highly respected chairman and has dedicated himself with great energy to our association in recent years," commented Jan Boeve, TLN director. "He has put the Dutch transport and logistics sector back on the map both nationally and internationally and deserves all credit for that."
