MediaMarkt places its new distribution centre in Etten-Leur. From the new premises, the electronics chain wants to centrally organise the supply and distribution of shops.
The distribution centre, which is currently under construction, will be located on the Vosdonk industrial estate and will have an area of 70,000 square metres. The arrival of the logistics centre will provide around 150 jobs in West Brabant.
Logistics service provider ID Logistics will take care of the operational activities. The new location is intended for both the online shop and the 49 MediaMarkt shops in the Netherlands. MediaMarkt expects to achieve optimisation by centralising its supplies.
