Logistics service providers CB and Krijgsman Public Warehousing are going to cooperate in the field of value added logistics and transport. With the collaboration, the parties want to shorten the logistics chain.
As a logistics service provider, CB focuses on the media and healthcare sectors. From Tiel, Krijgsman Public Warehousing provides storage, handling and distribution of books, consumer goods and other 'dry' non-food articles.
Value added logistics includes the stickering and sealing of books. Especially during busy periods, the cooperation in this area yields a lot. "Actually, we are bundling capacity," says Johan Krijgsman, director Krijgsman Public Warehousing. "That means we are much more flexible and can handle peaks more easily. We are especially strong in putting together complicated packages and customisation for clients."
In terms of transport, Krijgsman will use CB's transport. "At CB, we like to work together with parties in the chain. In this way, we ensure that our customers can be helped even faster. Krijgsman and CB fit together perfectly."
