Salesupply, provider of international logistics and customer service solutions, opens a new fulfilment location in London Heathrow. With the Brexit looming, local storage of stock should provide a solution for retailers.

Salesupply's operations include logistics hubs in the Netherlands, Germany, the US and China. This is now joined by a location in the UK. From this hub, Salesupply handles stock, the logistics process and delivery for (online) retailers.

The new location should offer strategic benefits to crossborder retailers, such as faster delivery and lower shipping and return costs in and out of the UK.

The approaching Brexit also played a role in the choice of the London location, Salesupply writes in a press release. "With Brexit approaching, it is becoming increasingly important for (r)etailers to start thinking about local storage of stock. The Salesupply Fulfilment location London Heathrow plays an important role in providing a solution."
