Exhibitors showcase their latest products and systems at trade fair Logistica. But how do you apply these solutions in practice? At Scala's Logistica, visitors can experience the latest innovations live in a practical environment.
In three different Scalas, cooperating exhibitors provide practice-oriented demos. Visitors can make their own route through the scala, or follow an interactive tour accompanied by an expert who will provide the necessary explanations.
Scala Smart Warehousing
In exhibition hall 1, exhibitors TGW, Knapp, Schäfer, Human Workspace and A-safe offer a number of integrated system solutions based on the 'goods to man' principle. Specific attention will be paid to smart workstations, effective order picking routes, combinations of manual order picking and robotised order picking. Interesting for companies that want to work smarter and reap the benefits.
Scala Material Handling & Internal Transport
The Scala Material Handling and Internal Transport has been set up in the walk-through of hall 3 and hall 4 . This scala offers a comprehensive demo of various goods flows in a warehouse. In hall 3, A-safe, Carton Mover, Ambaflex, EVC, Hovuma, Vebabox, Storax, Tawi and Ravas highlight case and tray picking. Various steps in the inbound, storage and outbound process will be covered, with solutions that can be used alongside and in combination with each other.
The demo in hall 4 focuses on item picking. A wide range of ways for order picking and order processing, picking and shipping will get all the attention here from exhibitors A-safe, Kardex, Human Workspace, Optimus Sorters, RoboMotive, Bito, Fromm, Cyklop, Inther and Logitrade. Efficient order picking and processing is essential for an increasing number of companies.
Scala AGV
For those entering the exhibition through Entrance West, it is immediately apparent that AGVs play an important role in internal transport. From small to large, from industrial application for production logistics to support for order picking. Numerous applications are covered in this range in Hall 3, thanks to exhibitors Movigo, Bito, Wewo and Indurfloor. This will give visitors a good idea of the AGVs that best suit their logistics process.
