At the three Logistica galas, smart systems and solutions came to life. During the Logistica trade fair, cooperating exhibitors gave demos in three simulated warehouses. Scala AGV
From small to large, from industrial application for production logistics to order picking support. Numerous applications were covered at the Scala AGV, thanks to exhibitors Movigo, Bito, Wewo and Indurfloor.
Scala Smart Warehousing
In hall 1, exhibitors TGW, Knapp, Schäfer, Human Workspace and A-safe offered a number of integrated system solutions based on the 'goods to man' principle. Specific attention was paid to smart workstations, effective order picking routes, combinations of manual order picking and robotised order picking.
Scala Material Handling and Internal Transport
In the corridor between hall 3 and hall 4, visitors found the Material Handling and Internal Transport Scala. This scala offered a comprehensive demo of various goods flows in a warehouse. In hall 3, A-safe, Carton Mover, Ambaflex, EVC, Hovuma, Vebabox, Storax, Tawi and Ravas highlighted case and tray picking.
The demo in hall 4 focused on item picking. A wide range of ways for order picking and shipping were covered here, by exhibitors A-safe, Kardex, Human Workspace, Optimus Sorters, RoboMotive, Bito, Fromm, Cyklop, Inther and Logitrade.
