Amazon already employed 10,000 new workers in Europe in 2015 and is adding to that this year. The online shopping giant wants to create 15,000 new jobs in Europe, mainly in e-fulfilment and logistics.

Amazon has 100 offices, fulfilment centres and data centres in Europe. These buildings are spread across France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the UK. The new jobs will be spread across all these countries. Thus, there will be 5,000 new jobs in the UK, 2,000 in Germany and 1,500 in France. It is unclear whether there will also be jobs in the Netherlands.

Amazon is also creating jobs in the United States. As many as 100,000 additional jobs will be created there.
