Amazon becomes carrier in the UK. Under the name Amazon Shipping, the e-commerce giant is going to transport parcels, including for purchases not made through Amazon's website.

Amazon Shipping will deliver seven days a week. The delivery service is not limited to Amazon orders. On its own website, Amazon writes: "Ship orders from your own website or other channels, starting at 20 parcels per day." The e-tailer promises next-day delivery, competitive rates and does not charge extra for delivery on weekends or during peak days. Business owners looking to deliver via Amazon can contact the company.

The Amazon Shipping service was already being tested in the US in 2018. Due to the corona crisis, Amazon scrapped the service. Increased crowds made the retailer focus only on delivering to its own customers.
