Antoine Leclercq Has been voted Supply Chain Professional of 2019. The Head of Global Supply Chain Management chip producer Ampleon stood out for his strategic policies.

The election Supply Chain Professional has been organised by Supply Chain Media, Inspired Search and BLMC since 2008. The final took place on Wednesday at Fort Vechten near Bunnik, where Leclercq walked away with the win. He left behind Valérie Kakebeeke-de Bruin of Unilever and Rogier van Hasselt of Tate & Lyle .

"We are convinced that each candidate is of enormous value in his own context," spoke jury chairman and professor Jack van der Veen. The jury paid attention to three aspects during the election: strategy, leadership and processes. Van der Veen: "Antoine performed the most all-round on these three aspects. He operates within a fast-growing company with huge risks. Within that company, supply chain is a determining factor in managing those risks. In that area, he does a lot of good work. Antoine also has a clear idea of what strategy is and also makes choices. He is enthusiastic and has passion."

Leclercq takes over from former winner Joost Donkers, Director End2End Supply Chain Ingredients at FrieslandCampina
