Bol.com expands its top with a Platform Director, a Commercial Director and a Logistics & Operations Director. With the three new board members, bol.com is showing that it will remain committed to its platform strategy for the time being.
Margaret Versteden, previously director of Stores, started as director of Platform on 1 August. She will focus on further development of the platform and bol.com's networking function. Oscar Hundman, previously also employed at bol.com, now holds the position of Commercial Director.
Since 1 March, Vincent Weijers has been responsible for bol.com's logistics and operations. He also joins the board, in the position of Director of Logistics & Operations. Weijers: "Bol.com is one of the finest logistics challenges in the Benelux, so it's great to be able to contribute to this."
Weijers started his challenge at bol.com just before the start of the corona period. "It was impressive to see right in my first weeks how, despite the challenges, we managed to deliver on our delivery promise to customers in the Netherlands and Flanders every day. And in the meantime, together with our sales partners, we are continuing to build on new logistics solutions to continue to live up to our customers' trust in the future."
The management of bol.com consists of Huub Vermeulen (Managing Director), Ellen Coopmans (People& Director), Gert-Jan Janssen (Finance, Operations & Legal Director), Jurrie van Rooijen (IT Director), MargaretVersteden (Director Platform), Boukje Taphoorn (Director Marketing & Shopping), Vincent Weijers (Director Logistics & Operations) and Oscar Hundman (Director Commercial).
