BP introduces delivery service BP2you. Customers in Utrecht can order on-demand food and drinks delivered from the local BP petrol station.

The oil group is testing the service initially for six months from Galgenwaard filling station. Consumers within a 4.5-kilometre radius place their order via the BP2you app. This is delivered within thirty minutes by BP bicycle couriers.

Eventually, BP also wants to take care of the last mile of parcels. Customers can have their package delivered to a BP petrol station and have it delivered at a more convenient time to a location they specify.

Ruben Beens, CEO BP Netherlands: "We are responding to the changing habits of consumers, who are asking for more convenience in their busy lives. BP2you is for us a logical, next step in our offering."

Should the trial prove successful, BP is considering roll-out to the rest of the Netherlands and Europe.
