A change of management at Broekman Logistics. Raymond Riemen, who has been at the helm of the company since 1999, will be replaced by current manager Rik Pek (39). The logistics service provider has appointed Ulrich Steenken as its new CFO.

Steenken succeeds current CFO Diederik Günther. "People change, but the ship stays on course," Broekman Logistics says of the changing of the guard. According to Logistiek.nl, Raymond Riemen and Diederik Günther are stepping down following a conflict with major shareholder Ralph-Hillard Geuther. The logistics provider denies this.

Broekman's new CEO started his career with the company in 2005. He held several commercial and operational positions. His most recent role was as Managing Director of the Breakbulk Terminals and International Freight Forwarding divisions.

"I am proud that with this we are continuing the company's successful tradition of filling the top management position with a manager from our own ranks," said Ralph-Hillard Geuther, shareholder of Broekman Logistics, "With his long track record within the company Rik is the right person to further optimise the course set and realise our growth strategy and take advantage of all the commercial opportunities that come with it."
