ANWB is outsourcing the storage and distribution of maps, books and guides to CB. The logistics provider will start the first deliveries to the approximately eighty ANWB shops at the beginning of this month.
CB will only handle the logistics for this specific product group. The other products will be delivered to shops and online customers by ANWB itself. It will do so from its own warehouse in Hardewijk.
Mathijs Suidman, Director Media CB, says he and the ANWB have spent a lot of time preparing for this step. Together we are making the supply chain for the ANWB shops and webshop more efficient. Instead of going through an extra link, the products now go faster and more directly to the ANWB shops and online customers. In doing so, this product group naturally fits seamlessly with one of our specialisations: book distribution through all channels."
