Coolblue will also deliver white goods at home in North Holland and South Holland with its own delivery service CoolblueBezorgt. For this, the webshop will open logistics hubs in the Delfgauw and Oostzaan area and in Utrecht. These locations would be most favourable for distribution between the central distribution office in Tilburg and consumers in South Holland and North Holland.
Coolblue launched its own delivery service at the beginning of this year. With the service, Coolblue hopes to have more influence on the delivery process. Especially since when delivering white goods, the delivery driver often comes to the consumer's home. "We are happy that from now on we also know who is coming to your home. We can now confidently let our delivery people drop by your grandma's house," Coolblue managing director Pieter Zwart said of CoolblueBezorgt. The delivery service initially operated only in Brabant and Limburg. More provinces in the Netherlands are yet to follow. Coolblue hopes to have an estimated 50 blue vans on the road by the end of the year.
