Coolblue not only installs solar panels and charging stations, but also offers energy from now on. The online player has been supplying green electricity and gas since this month.
To do so, Coolblue has incorporated energy company ServiceHouse. The new service is called 'Coolblue Energy' and should enable customers not only to purchase a Coolblue charging station, but also to obtain Coolblue electricity from it. A golden combination, according to the online shop.
In a press release, it writes: "At Coolblue, customers can already buy and install solar panels to generate their own energy. They can also order almost anything that has a plug or is rechargeable."
Coolblue wants to give customers insight into their consumption and advise which products they can use to save energy. The retailer gives them discounts on solar panels and charging stations.
Tens of millions
Coolblue paid tens of millions for ServiceHouse, according to the Volkskrant. The retailer is still waiting for regulatory approval.
