Meal delivery company Deliveroo stops in ten German cities. The company wants to focus on big cities like Berlin and Munich, where it is currently growing fast.
In Essen, Bonn, Dortmund, Dresden, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Mainz, Hanover and Nuremberg, Deliveroo will stop delivering restaurant meals. The move means 130 delivery drivers will lose their jobs.
Deliveroo wants to partner with more restaurants in the five cities where it continues to deliver. These are Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Berlin.
