Etos and Home Pharmacy are launching an app on which customers can order their prescription medicines and get them delivered online to their homes.
The drugstore chain is testing the service until the summer in seven shops in Haarlem and Overveen. Residents of the towns can download the Etos+ app and submit their prescription there. They then automatically become customers of online pharmacy service Thuisapotheek, which provides the medicines and customer service.
Customers choose on the app whether they want their medicines delivered to their home, collected from a pick-up counter or from a secure safe with a personal code in an Etos shop.
