Stein worked for shipping company DFDS for many years, where he coordinated the integration between Norfolkline and DFDS, among other things. In 2016, he was appointed managing director of Hollander Barendrecht, which is responsible for PLUS's fresh supply chain and the import flow of fruit for Edeka.
Since taking office, the logistics provider has been going through a challenging transformation: from a company dedicated to PLUS to one that serves multiple customers.
