European Supply Chain Forum (ESCF) will collaborate with evofenedex and Transport en Logistiek Nederland. Members of the industry associations may participate in ESCF's workshops and webinars on digitalisation, sustainability, the role of data and collaboration.
Evofenedex and TLN take members interested in certain topics to meetings and workshops ESCF, affiliated to Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), in turn gains access to a broad logistics constituency in need of knowledge and taking optimisation steps.
"Topics such as sustainability, the role of big data and artificial intelligence are in full focus. Members of evofenedex and TLN need additional knowledge at managerial level, as well as in both operational management and supply chain executive areas. We can provide that knowledge," says Tom van Woensel, director of ESCF.
The cooperation will also give members of the logistics organisations the opportunity at company level to convert their available data into new tools with the help of TU/e students. "This allows them to actually give hands and feet to digitalisation projects," the parties said in a press release.
