There are four finalists left in BLMC's Interim Challenge 2017. They scored high with the jury on both personality and professional knowledge. On 10 January, it will become clear who can call themselves Supply Chain Interim Manager of 2017.

Niek Bloemendaal, Kjeld Bontenbal, Klaas Brandse and Hans van der Sande are left in the race. The jury will judge them on professional knowledge, experience, insight and will pay particular attention to the candidate's ability to successfully implement change. "That is what we paid attention to in the interviews," says BLMC director Michel van Buren. "A good interim manager can mobilise a group and set the pace, but also takes the time to talk to people who cannot or do not want to join in. You cannot do that with power or knowledge alone; it takes empathy, and distance at the same time. A change manager will always oversee the whole and work towards the best solution. These finalists have that in them."

On Tuesday 10 January, the final will take place during the executive conference 'Survival of the Fittest: Success Dissected'. The winner will present his/her winning case during the congress.
