Greetz has won the title Logistic Webshop of the Year. The gift shop Greetz scored highly with a complex logistics process revolving around personalised products.
Greetz beat fellow finalists Omoda and Your Surprise at the eCommerce Live! event on Wednesday. The jury judged the finalists on five criteria: customer focus, supply chain management, sustainability, innovation and overall performance.
Greetz sells personalised gifts and that involves a complex logistics process, explained jury chairman Egbert Guis. "Greetz deals well with the peaking it faces. In addition, it offers same-day delivery, an ambitious ambition."
COO Ronald van Hekezen accepted the award on behalf of Greetz. "This is a very nice reward for the tough peak moments we have had with the company: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day."
The Logistic Webshop of the Year election was organised for the seventh time, last year Flinders won the title. Flinders delivers 85 percent of its orders from stock thanks to smart software. The jury called this 'a top performance in furniture logistics'.
