US department store chain Nordstrom wants to make sure consumers get their Christmas gift on time. Around Christmas, 23 branches of Nordstrom are therefore open day and night for online order pick-up.
"We have to adapt in this retail landscape and look for new ways to provide services that customers are looking for," says Shea Jensen, vice president of customer experience at Nordstrom.
In all branches from 8am onwards
From 16 to 24 December, customers will be able to pick up their online orders day and night at 23 branches of Nordstrom. Before then, from 3 December, customers can go to all Nordstrom branches from as early as eight in the morning. Nordstrom shops will not be open by then. By extending the pick-up times, the department store chain wants to accommodate working consumers.
