Parcel Pro is going to help small webshops with next day delivery. Orders placed before 23:59 will be delivered the next day. With the new service, Parcel Pro wants to support smaller webshops in the competition with large players that have been offering such options for some time.
Next day delivery - in some cases even same day delivery - is an important pillar in the battle for the online shopper. Large online retailers often outsource their logistics to fulfilment parties to provide the service. According to Parcel Pro, this is no longer necessary with its new shipping software. Parcel Pro picks up the shipments at the warehouse or online shop, and then delivers them to the consumer. For the service, Parcel Pro charges 6.95 per parcel.
The software lot was launched at the beginning of this year during the Webwinkel Vakdagen. WebwinkelWeblog writes that Parcel Pro was able to attract many new customers afterwards. "Linking turns out to be possible with many players faster than thought, which allows us to expand the service quickly," founder Stanley Schot tells WebwinkelWeblog. "Some major follow-on developments will really rock the market this summer. With this, I expect that even before the end of our launch year, we will be able to welcome the five thousandth online retailer as a customer."
