and supermarket chain PLUS are joining forces. Up to 550 smart parcel lockers are to be installed in PLUS branches.
The lockers will be installed in 100 PLUS shops this year. “By
addition of Instabox to our format, we’re offering an extra service to our
customers, who will soon be able to collect their parcels without having to queue
,” said Peter van Mourik, Marketing Director
at PLUS.
Instabox made its entry into the Netherlands when it acquired Red je Pakketje. The Swedish tech-driven logistics player is betting on parcel lockers, a last-mile solution that has yet to gain a foothold in the Netherlands. Instabox has been delivering fossil-free since November 2021 and does so for customers such as Bijenkorf, bol.com, IKEA, Amazon and H&M.
