From this month Red je Pakketje is officially called Instabox. The parcel delivery company was already acquired by Swedish Instabox in 2021. Sam Rohn, general manager of Instabox Benelux: "Our organisation was already used to considerable growth. Combining both our services ensures that we accelerate further."
Swedish logtech company Instabox acquired Red je Pakketje, a specialist in same-day delivery, in May 2021. Under the name Instabox, the company has been offering both home and locker delivery under one brand since this month. The number of parcel lockers in the Netherlands will be significantly expanded in the coming months. When ordering, consumers can switch between home delivery and locker delivery, even if an order is already in transit.
Sam Rohn: "Consumers are getting used to perfect service and flexibility. Offering different delivery options is therefore essential for any online shop. Choosing the convenience of delivery to your home or to a parcel locker nearby is unique."
Fossil-free delivery
Instabox delivers all parcels fossil-free. Where possible with electric buses and otherwise with vans that run on the fossil-free HVO100. The parcel delivery company claims to compensate 110 per cent of the remaining emissions. Instabox aims to deliver all parcels electrically later this year.
