Travellers waiting for their flight at Schiphol can have a meal delivered to the gate via Deliveroo. To this end, Schiphol, catering partner HMSHost and Deliveroo have joined forces.
Passengers can order meals via Deliveroo's regular app. The meals will be prepared by restaurants Kebaya, The Market, The Grill and The Oven. These locations - as well as passengers - are located behind security at Schiphol Airport. HMHSHost, one of Schiphol's catering partners, delivers the meal for 2.50 euros per step. This can be done up to the gate or at the Mercure Hotel behind passport control.
The parties are currently testing the service among passengers flying from the E-pier. These are mainly flights to non-European countries. The pilot will be further expanded later this year. n.
