Smart Robotics has opened a second office in the Netherlands. With a new location in Utrecht, the robot developer hopes to attract more staff from the northern part of the Netherlands.
Smart Robotics has been developing robotic solutions for the logistics and packaging industry since 2015. Vanderlande recently took a stake in the fast-growing company, which now has 50 employees. A hundred Smart Robotics robots are now driving around distribution centres.
The scale-up has an office in the North Brabant town of Best, but was in need of a second location. "The Utrecht office significantly reduces the travel time of our colleagues in and around Utrecht, which supports them in working efficiently. In addition, it will help attract new staff in the northern part of the Netherlands," Smart Robotics said in a press release.
