Utrecht startup Packaly has raised an investment sum of 150,000 euros just before its launch. Next month, Packaly will launch its delivery platform and start in Utrecht with delivery within 60 minutes.
Packaly wants to make on-demand delivery available for food and non-food products, like Deliveroo and UberEeats do for restaurant meals. Shops can integrate Packaly into their online shop and offer it in the checkout process. The shop arranges for the products to be collected, after which the Packaly courier picks up the package and delivers it to the customer within an hour.
Investment fund Deventer
The €150,000 investment comes from A-Players, a Deventer-based investment fund. "We have been working on our seed round for some time, and spoke for the first time at The Next Web Conference. We share the same vision about the last-mile and immediately had a good click. That's why we had several conversations and eventually came to a nice deal," said Axel Dekker, CEO Packaly.
The investment will be used for team building, product development, marketing and operational purposes.
