Den Hartogh Logistics and Schiphol Group are the only two companies in the transport and logistics category to be nominated for the title of Best Employer. Both organisations will be judged by their own employees in this competition.
The Best Employer survey is conducted for the sixteenth time this year by Effecotry and Intermediair. 318 organisations participated in the survey, of which sixty remained. How high Schiphol Group and Den Hartogh Logitics ultimately end up in this list depends on the opinion of their own employees. In the survey, these employees answered six questions that together determine the Best Employer Score. These questions include the extent to which the employee is proud of the organisation, satisfaction with the organisation and appreciation for employee performance.
'Freedom and room for personal growth'
Commenting on the nomination, Den Hartogh said it considers it very important to invest in its employees. "Through training and instruction, Den Hartogh constantly invests in its employees. Employees are encouraged to come up with creative solutions within our complex logistics organisation. This freedom and room for personal growth are highly appreciated."
Title holder Schiphol Group
Schiphol Group already took home the title of Best Employer in the Transport and Logistics sector last year. Back then, it left Munckhof Group Airport and GVB behind. "To keep up with the international top, the organisation is constantly innovating. Schiphol Group also pays a lot of attention to personal development. This contributes to employees feeling valued," was the verdict of organiser Effectory at the time.
The winner will be announced on 4 October during the Best Employers Event in Theater Amsterdam.
