Safety does not come by accident. Those who want to prevent incidents in the warehouse should involve employees and continuously evaluate processes. How do you make the transformation from a safe warehouse to an even safer warehouse?

The number of workplace accidents is still rising every year. Last year, the Inspectorate SZW released an analysis of the 2016 figures. It showed that there is still much to be gained in logistics; the sector is in the top five sectors with the highest number of casualties. For every 100,000 jobs, there are 59 workplace accidents.

More than a safety poster

Companies that want to reduce the number of incidents in warehouses need more than a safety poster a few safety regulations. At the Logistica trade fair, the behaviour and process change required for a safe working environment will be extensively discussed, both by exhibitors and in the BMWT Safety Theatre, where more than 20 substantive sessions will be organised around this theme.
