ICT & Logistiek is back! After a two-year absence, this year's ICT & Logistiek trade fair managed to attract thousands of visitors. Some 4,000 professionals visited the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. A dynamic fair, which was all about networking and gaining knowledge for the coming year.

It was a special edition, noticed also the 130 exhibitors: visitors came to ICT & Logistiek with a clear information need for their organisation. Many contacts were made and follow-up appointments were made.

In the 8 theatres, the sessions on supply chain management, data, digitalisation, warehouse management and sustainability attracted many visitors in particular. The practical cases of Tony's Chocolonely, McDonald's, Save Your Package and Movianto, among others, were well-attended.

"What a boost that the sector was able to meet physically again after two years," says Victor Ankerman, Sales project manager at the Jaarbeurs. "It was a dynamic fair, with busy stands, full theatres and many smiling faces. We noticed a great hunger among visitors for knowledge and tools to shape the future. In that respect, the theme 'Resilient Logistics' was aptly chosen. We really worked over the past few days to create a resilient sector that is ready for the future."

Next year, ICT & Logistiek will again take place simultaneously with Logistica, from 8 to 10 November 2022 in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. According to Ankerman, over 30 per cent of the exhibitors have already signed up again for the next edition. "The developments in today's market are going so fast and conditions are constantly changing. We notice among exhibitors and visitors that there is a great need for an annual trade fair."
