Scarcity of Supply Chain Managers and Demand Planners further push up salaries for these positions in 2017. The two positions feature in the 2017 survey of well-paid emerging jobs, published by Hays.
Hays looked at scarcity of talent, new technologies and job complexity when compiling the list. Combining these factors, Supply Chain Managers in the Logistics & Supply chain sector can expect a salary between 70,000 and 100,000 euros in 2017. Demand Planners receive an average annual salary of 65,000 euros. According to Hays, this position requires a rare degree of precision, combined with strong analytical skills and good communication skills.
Hays also surveyed four other sectors. In Marketing & Sales, Technical Manager is a well-paid emerging job. In the IT sector, the Business Intelligence Manager is gaining ground and in Finance, the Risk Model Validator earns well. Hays also surveyed the Procurement sector. Here, the Procurement and Sourcing Specialist IT is said to earn well.
