Evofenedex yesterday presented seven status holders with a Certificate of Logistics Employee. The trainees will start work as logistics employees in Toolstation's new warehouse in Bleiswijk.

The seven status holders followed the tailor-made basic training course Logistics employee, a course evofenedex set up with Toolstation and the WerkgeversServicepunt Zuid-Holland Centraal. Six crusists were offered a one-year contract at Toolstation in Bleiswijk after completing the course. The seventh candidate found work at another company.

A new group will soon start training as logistics employees. Evofenedex provides this training for candidates who do not yet have a full command of the Dutch language and culture. "When I started, I thought, all those cultures together, will that work out? But I was amazed at how motivated this group was," says instructor Paul Hogenes. "With the help of Google translate, we came a long way. We talked about cultural differences such as that you just show up on time and that a deal really is a deal. If you have to grab ten from a rack, you grab ten. This group of seven, I am extremely proud of them."

Training more status holders

Eric Davidse, HR director Toolstation, says he is pleased with the new employees. "From managers I get very positive feedback back. This group is incredibly motivated and works almost flawlessly. We therefore want to start training more status holders to work for us, especially with all the growth we are experiencing, we need these people very much."
