Vos Logistics and ROC de Leijgraaf are going to work together to train students on the shop floor. In the 'Workfloor Learning' programme, students work four days a week at the company and are taught one day by a teacher. This is similar to a BBL training course, only in this case the student is taught on the shop floor.

During their training, students have a paid job at Vos Logistics and fully participate in operations.

Teacher involvement

The advantage over a regular BBL course is that the teacher is closely involved in the student's work process, Vos Logistics and the ROC say. The teacher is present at Vos Logistics every week - in the mornings to give classroom lessons, in the afternoons to supervise the students in the workplace.

Choice of three courses

This week, the first eight students will start at Vos Logistics, including four status holders. In addition, four current employees will participate in the project to obtain their diploma. Within the programme, they can choose from three courses: logistics employee, team leader or supervisor. At the end of the programme, the students will receive an MBO diploma, level 2, 3 or 4.
