Bicycle retailer Mantel is building a new logistics centre at business park Park15, near Oosterhout in Gelderland, the Netherlands, with space for more than 50,000 bicycles and one million spare parts.

Due to the popularity of bicycles, Mantel is growing fast both offline and online, which is why extra logistics capacity is needed. The new building covers 18,000 square metres and will be located along the A15 motorway, between Arnhem and Nijmegen. Mantel is building in height to make optimal use of the square metres. Twenty loading docks offer the chain enough space for loading and unloading for the time being.

Stocking more than 50,000 bicycles and one million parts, accessories and cycling clothing, Mantel will offer more security to ensure year-round delivery duration. The chain expects demand for bicycles to only increase in the coming years.

The new premises will be operational from February 2022.
