Strategic partnership between AIMSS and BigMile enables emissions data to be used as input for supply chain design and optimisation. AIMMS provides software for supply chain scenario planning, while BigMile specialises in providing accurateCO2 emissions data. The collaboration enables AIMMS customers to reduce theirCO2 footprint.
As part of this partnership, AIMMS will complement its supply chain optimisation software with BigMile's advanced data and technology. This will give AIMMS customers access to accurate data on actualCO2 emissions, allowing them to make environmentally responsible decisions that contribute to their sustainability goals. The partnership also provides the ability to benchmarkCO2 emissions, giving AIMMS customers an insight into their environmental impact compared to similar companies
AllocatingCO2 emissions
Jan Pronk, Managing Director of BigMile, explains, "Companies today operate in disruptive and ever-changing environments, with complex supply chains that need to be both resilient and sustainable. As BigMile, we can contribute to this by helping companies calculate, allocate and report ISO 14083-compliantCO2 emissions for all their supply chain-related activities. I am proud that in AIMMS we have found a partner with a proven track record that can complement our solution with supply chain design technology to support companies at a strategic level."
Reducing emissions and benchmarking

Our partnership with BigMile is an important step towards this goal and enables our customers to emit lessCO2 while securing their business goals as well as benchmarking their emissions," said Zoe Schouten, Business Director Supply Chain Solutions at AIMMS.
