AS Watson Benelux is moving into a distribution centre along the A12 motorway in Ede. To this end, the company behind Kruidvat and ICI Paris has signed a ten-year lease agreement with DHG.
It concerns the former Kinzo logistics centre, which was built in 1995. In 2005, the centre was expanded once more. AS Watson will use the distribution centre, which has an area of 13,818 square metres, for e-fulfilment of Kruidvat.
For Kruidvat, Chinese AS Watson also has a distribution centre in Heteren. In 2016, this property was expanded and came under protest from adjacent property owner Wemu Beheer. The latter demanded that the construction be stopped and demolished, as business park the Poort van Midden Gelderland would lose quality with the arrival of the new distribution centre. The court in Arnhem rejected this request.
