Coolblue has been operating in its new mega-warehouse for a while, but is now giving its first sneak peek into the kitchen. Belgium's KanaalZ was given the honour of shooting footage inside Coolblue's 'big barn'.
Unrelenting growth
Coolblue moved into the warehouse earlier this year as it had been posting growth of more than 40 per cent for 10 quarters and was outgrowing its space. The etailer therefore moved into a warehouse of no less than 22,000 square metres, with 20 dock doors and a height of 14 metres.
The new warehouse employs 165 staff, and in addition to normal orders, VandaagNog and time period orders are also processed here. As well as Belgian orders for large goods, reservations for the seven physical shops and larger returns.
