Logistics service provider CB is to take on fulfilment around V&D's e-commerce activities. Docdata had been active as logistics service provider for V&D since 2012, but that contract will not be renewed.
The collaboration with CB will start on 1 February and has a duration of five years. V&D hopes to integrate e-commerce and physical sales more by choosing CB. This will take place from a specialised location in Helmond. "We are convinced that this cooperation will allow us to integrate our activities more, which is in line with V&D's longer-term strategy within our Total Retail model," said Theo Heemskerk, director supply chain.
