Coolblue is outgrowing its premises and has therefore opened a new mega-warehouse in Tilburg. The etailer is moving into a 22,000-square-metre warehouse, with twenty dock doors and a height of 14 metres.
Already ten quarters of double-digit growth
Coolblue previously rented another warehouse in Tilburg, which covered over 13,000 metres. This one is now being closed. The premises no longer met Coolblue's requirements as the company just won't stop growing. According to managing director Pieter Zwart, it has recorded growth of more than 40 per cent for ten consecutive quarters.
Processing orders
The new warehouse will employ 165 people. Besides normal orders, the TodayNow and time period orders will also be processed here. As well as Belgian orders for large goods, reservations for the seven physical shops and larger returns.
